How to Become a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Tanzania Chapter (ACFE-T) advises all candidates who wish to sit for the CFE examinations to first register for ACFE-T membership. Members enjoy discounts on both exam fees and study materials during their CFE exam preparation.

Types of Membership

1. Associate Member

Open to anyone interested in detecting, preventing, and deterring fraud.

Many associate members go on to earn the CFE credential.

Membership Fee: 375,000 TZS

Includes both Global and Local Chapter membership. Renewed annually.

2. Certified Fraud Examiner Membership (CFE)

Open to active Associate Members who pass the CFE Exam and earn the CFE credential.

Members demonstrate expertise in fraud prevention, detection, and investigation.

Membership Fee: 410,000 TZS

Includes Global and Local Chapter membership. Renewed annually.

3. Student Associate Membership

Designed for students who wish to launch a successful career in the Anti-Fraud profession.

Full-time college or university students are eligible to join.

Student members receive full access to ACFE benefits, including CFE exam preparation resources.

Membership Fee: 287,000 TZS

Includes Global and Local Chapter membership. Renewed annually.
